Music: For my next trick . . .

Happy Monday, all my dear Screamers and Screamettes.

If you're anything like me, you're sitting at some desk, rapidly depleting the admittedly scant reserves of interest-in-work you built up over the weekend, and wondering how anybody ever agreed to this whole "labor" model of existence in the first place.

In the words of my beloved Devo: "Toil is stupid."

So, let's you and me take a short break. Just slide on your headphones, let the work sit for a moment, and enjoy a little rock and or roll from The Hives. You deserve it and, honestly, screw the Man. He can clear out his own damn outbox for once!

Enjoy The Hives' "Abra Cadaver":

That'll rock you straight into a casket! Excellent tune and video... Now for a truely surreal experience, go back and watch it again with the sound down while listening to Leonard Cohen's Everybody Knows... That's creepy stuff...

Oh, great! Now watch my productivity drops through the floor as I jump from ITunes to ANTSS in an effort to link new songs to the muted visuals.

Though Lesley Gore's "Sunshine, Lollipops and Rainbows" is about the right length, it doesn't work as well as I was hoping. Sigh.

The Zombies "What More Can I Do" works pretty well.
