Comics: When ANTSS disagrees, you decide!

Screamers and Screamettes, is this the worst idea you've ever heard of or the best? Have your say in the comments section.

For your consideration: Helen Killer.

From the publisher's title specific Web site:

Story Synopsis: Issue 1

1901, Helen Keller, with the aid of a fantastical device invented by her friend and mentor, Alexander Graham Bell, regains her sight and hearing as well as near super-human strength and agility. Helen is enlisted by the Secret Service to protect President William McKinley who has been targeted for assassination by Anarchists. As a deeper conspiracy to destroy America unfolds around her, Helen discovers that her new abilities come with a dark and terrifying price.

any better or worse than the billy kid comic from a while back where the guy shoots superman with kryptonite bullets ?

(Turkey day was here, two other couples, 6 adults, 2 and 7/9ths kids)

I'm voting for best. I like that her awesome-ness might have a price she is not willing to pay. I mean, it's one thing to give up powers but to go back to blind and deaf? That is one sucky price.

Screamin' Sassy,

You're thinking of the Superman/Batman comic where the timeline goes all wacky and Jonah Hex blasts Supes in the back.

And no idea is better then Jonah Hex kickin' ass. Any ass. It don't matter.

Awesome, but only if the dark and terrifying price involves future issues where Helen is forced to guest star on 'The Love Boat', 'Hotel', and 'Police Woman' a'la Patty Duke after her turn as HK...
